Dell doesnt appear to have the service guide for the 2650 posted anymore.. My trusty laptop, an Inspiron 2650, has developed a stress crack at the left hinge.

After buying the macbook after a long time of waiting to buy it at the price, this case has a sleek non-slip feel especially for a clumsy person like me! It covers the entire laptop and has ventilation holes on the bottom so don't worry about the case overheating the entire thing.. Then it looks like the LCD cover separates via a few screws hidden under rubber pads at the top of the screen, and a couple under plastic covers at the bottom corners.. I already tried to fix it, with 5-minute epoxy and a strip of polyester fabic for fiber reinforcement, but the epoxy didn't adhere well to the plastic of the case.. Anyone have experience/pointers with something like this?
